The NSA is a group of professional speakers who have banded together to share their knowledge, expertise, and experiences with others who are either currently in the profession or who aspire to being in the profession.

The Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the National Speakers Association is the local representation of the NSA for the Los Angeles area. Its membership covers from Santa Barbara to Laguna Niguel and includes the Inland Empire of Southern California.

NSA was founded in 1973. NSA/GLAC was founded in 1985.

The purpose of the NSA/GLAC is to provide an atmosphere of learning and camaraderie for those who are in or who aspire to be in, the business of public and/or professional speaking.
