Members of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of NSA are entitled to a free webpage or online one-sheet to promote their speaking business. The material to be shown can be supplied to the chapter office as an Adobe Acrobat® PDF formatted file, a Microsoft Word® formatted or RTF (Rich Text Format) document, or a plain text file.

When supplied as either a PDF or formatted MSWord file, revised materials may be submitted as often as once a month. Plain text updates may be submitted once every six months.

PDF and MSWord submittals may contain pictures and other graphics, as well as text formatting such as italics and emboldening. Links to other internet pages will not be kept as active hyperlinks, however. One-sheets should be no more than two pages in length, and filesize should be kept below 500k bytes to facilitate retrieval by visitors using dial-up internet connections.

Formatted MSWord files will be converted by the webmaster to PDF files. Care should be taken to use only those fonts commonly found on MS Windows and Macintosh computers (Arial/Helvetica, Times/Times New Roman, Comic Sans, Courier New, Georgia, Symbol, Trebuchet, Verdana, Webdings), otherwise the formatting of the final document will not match what was submitted.

Plain text submissions will be formatted per our standard template, with the member’s on-file picture being added. Since this option results in a very simple presentation, you are encouraged to perform your own formatting and supply one of the more advanced file types.
