National Speakers Association (NSA) Membership www.nsaspeaker.org

The NSA is a national organization of professional speakers with local chapter representation.

To become a member of the NSA you must have the following:

1. 20 paid speaking engagements in the 12 months prior to your application for membership OR
2. Earned $25,000 in speaking fees in the 12 months prior to your application for membership OR
3. You have made a minimum of 20 presentations to audiences of 15 people or more as part of your salaried position. Include a letter from a manager or supervisor indicating professional speaking presentations.

National Speakers Association/Greater Los Angeles Chapter (NSA/GLAC) Membership

Member

To become a member of the NSA/GLAC (local chapter) you must first be a member of the National Speakers Association. You may then join the NSA/GLAC as a member.

Apprentice

If you wish to participate but do not yet qualify for membership, the NSA/GLAC offers the opportunity to become an apprentice. To join the NSA/GLAC as an apprentice there are no specific requirements other than a desire to join and become involved with the profession of speaking.

Pro Speak Academy

The NSA/GLAC offers both members and apprentice the opportunity to participate in a nine month training program to learn the business of professional speaking, elevate your competencies to a professional level, and if not yet qualified, work towards accomplishing the requirements for full membership.
