Upcoming Professional Development Meetings
Each month, except for February and July, NSA/GLAC offers informative educational programs and networking opportunities to assist you in building your professional speaking business.
Summer Symposium
The Summer Symposium is a three-day event held in September in Palm Springs. There are workshops and breakout sessions where CSPs, CPAEs and others discuss important aspects of the speaking profession. The Symposium offers numerous opportunities to meet and network with fellow professionals.

Member Showcases
The 8-minute showcase offers you, as an NSA/GLAC member, the opportunity to present your program before a supportive audience of your peers, as well as an opportunity for other NSA members to get to know you and what you do.

Pro Speak Academy
Pro Speak Academy was created as a way to help emerging and serious aspiring speakers learn the business of speaking.

Media Mania
Usually held in May, is a panel of print and electronic journalists discusses tips and techniques for securing media placement of stories. Chapter members are also selected through a competitive process to pitch their expertise, and be critiqued by panel members. This event has led to members landing media interviews.
