The showcase offers you, as an NSA/GLAC member, the opportunity to present your program before a supportive audience of your peers, as well as an opportunity for other NSA members to get to know you and what you do. Here are a few things you may want to know:

As a Participant in the showcase, you will have the opportunity to:

• Let chapter members to get to know you and what you do so they can support you in networking efforts.
• Enhance your platform skills with complimentary coaching.
• Get feedback from other chapter members.
• Try out new material in a supportive environment.
• Get one step closer to the NSA/GLAC Bronze Pin Award.

The showcase is open to all Professional Members of NSA/GLAC. Members who have not yet presented a showcase for the chapter will be given first priority.

During the 2008-2009 calendar year the showcase will be held during our regular monthly meetings in September, December, January and June. Two speakers will be selected to showcase at each of these meetings. Each speaker will have 5-7 minutes for their presentation.

Special Bonus for Showcase Participants:

In order to support them in delivering a highly successful presentation, speakers selected for the showcase will have the opportunity to receive complimentary coaching from Len Lipton, Ph.D., president of Presenting Your Best Self, professional speaker and presentation skills consultant. Len is the author of "The Best Public Speaking Secrets Revealed: Everything You Need to Know About Making Successful Presentations in the Business World." There is no fee associated with doing the showcase.
