Showcase Frequently Asked Questions
Question:
What happens if I’m selected for the showcase?
Answer:
If you are selected for the NSA/GLAC Showcase Opportunity, you will need to prepare the following:
- A photo for the meeting announcement (your online Member Directory photo will be used).
- A title and three bullet points about your program for the meeting announcement.
- A 30-second introduction for your speech.
- Someone to introduce you at the showcase.
Answer:
As a showcase participant, you will be given some support in preparing your presentation.
Question:
Do I need to be a Professional Member of NSA/GLAC to participate in the showcase?
Answer:
Yes. Only Professional Members of the chapter are eligible for consideration.
Question:
What if I’ve done a showcase before — can I do another showcase?
Answer:
Yes, however first priority will be given to those who have not yet had the opportunity to participate in a showcase. Please do submit an application and let us know you would like to participate.
